The student council at UDIS represents the interests of the entire student body while promoting social responsibility in the local and wider community.
The mission of the UDIS Student Council is to provide students the opportunity to be responsible leaders within our school community. The UDIS Student Council aims to represent the entire student body and promotes social responsibility within our school, the community and beyond.
The objectives of the student council include:
- Providing safe and positive experiences for students to develop their leadership and cooperation skills, whereby students will be able to lead by example and demonstrate the learner profile attributes in and outside of school.
- Building school spirit by encouraging students to participate in school activities.
Supporting the welfare of the school’s student body as a whole.
- Providing an environment for students to ascertain and discuss student opinions.
- Bringing the school and wider community closer together by supporting community programmes and charities.
