In May 2026, we held our team evaluation visit for re-accreditation. The team inspected us against the CIS small schools protocol which covered core standards and a few optional standards the school chose.
The result of this visit was very successful with UDIS gaining re-accreditation with CIS for the first time. The evaluators made a number of comments about the school and recommendations for how the school could improve further. Notably they said that UDIS was “A caring, safe, and inclusive environment that supports positive relationships across the community, contributing to student well-being and readiness to learn.”
